  • Portrait of Colin Indermaur standing indoors, looking directly into the camera with a calm and focused expression. The image has a dark, cinematic mood with soft lighting and blurred industrial elements in the background. The text “Chapter 2026” appears next to him, symbolizing the beginning of a new phase in his life and career. Colin is wearing a simple dark t-shirt, reinforcing a minimal and grounded aesthetic. The photograph represents reflection, transition, and personal growth after an intense and successful year. It visually communicates themes of leadership, responsibility, discipline, and readiness for new challenges, including professional growth, creative work, public speaking, and upcoming military service. The image reflects a shift from creative projects and public visibility toward a more structured and demanding chapter, emphasizing maturity, focus, and long-term vision. The overall tone is serious, introspective, and cinematic.

Looking back at 2025, it’s hard to put everything into one post. 2025 stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

Starting in Australia and doing creative work on a smaller scale to being trusted with full-scale projects - brand films, complex productions, real responsibility. Projects that required more than just skill. They required clarity, leadership, and ownership.

And then, toward the end of the year, something I once only imagined became real:
Speaking on stage at Rising Stars On Stage in Helsinki.

Standing there, sharing my journey and my perspective, felt like a quiet confirmation - not that I had “made it,” but that I was moving in a direction that felt right.

When I look back at 2025, I feel deep gratitude.
For the people I worked with.
For the opportunities I didn’t take lightly.
For the growth that happened both visibly and behind the scenes.

It was an incredible year.

Now comes 2026...

And it doesn’t start quietly.

A new chapter is about to begin - one that couldn’t be more different from the year behind me.

In the coming months, I’ll step into my military service as an MP-Grenadier, within the Swiss military. A role that demands discipline, responsibility, and mental resilience - far beyond comfort or routine.

It will be about entering an environment that strips things down to the essentials.

Structure. Accountability. Pressure.

I see this chapter not as a pause - but as a sharpening and experience for life.

A time where leadership is tested without titles.
Where character matters more than creativity.
Where you learn who you are when conditions aren’t ideal.

Some chapters are about building visibility.
Others are about building backbone.

2026 begins with the latter.

And I’m stepping into it fully aware that this experience will shape not just how I work - but how I think, decide, and lead for the rest of my life!
